Powerade Option is a new low-calorie sports drink from The Coca-Cola Company, Atlanta, GA. The water/sports drink hybrid provides electrolytes and B-complex vitamins at comparable levels to regular Powerade, but with fewer carbohydrates and fewer calories. An 8-fluid ounce serving contains 10 calories, 35 mg of potassium, 2 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of sugar, 10% of niacin, vitamin B6 and B12. Powerade Option is available in Strawberry flavor.
